Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center 5th Anniversary Celebration

The UI Alumni Association, Center for Student Involvement and Leadership, and the Center for Diversity and Enrichment, are proud to support this networking opportunity for alumni and current lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students on campus.

UI Students

Enrolled students who wish to register for the celebration, including the various meal functions and programs, must do so through the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL). All registration information and payment arrangements will be completed through the CSIL, not online.

Parking

Parking around the LGBTRC is very limited. Parking is available in the Field House Ramp or behind Slater Residence Hall in Lot 14 for an hourly fee. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, parking at Kinnick Stadium is free (if there are no scheduled athletic events). There will be NO available parking at the LGBTRC.

Hotels

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Iowa House Hotel on a first-come, first-served basis. Please follow these instructions to ensure you receive the group discounted rate—go to http://imu.uiowa.edu/reservations and click on "Reserve your room online now." Enter your dates of stay and number of adults and be sure to enter 1110LGBTRC in the "enter group code" section. Click "Check Availability" to view a list of available rooms.
