Outback Bowl 2009
On the first morning of January 2009, 30 Hawkeye fans and alumni gathered at Bailey's in the heart of Music City to cheer and watch the Iowa football team demolish the Gamecocks of South Carolina. The Hawkeyes clearly were well prepared and demonstrated what Iowa football is all about. It was a great way to bring in the New Year.

35 Hawkeye fans witnessed the Iowa football team defeat the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the heart of Music City. The Hawkeyes struck the right cord and perfect pitch in tuning their game for a much anticipated bowl bid.
Music City Classic
The University of Iowa baseball team competed in the 2008 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University. The Hawkeyes won two of their three tournament games to include defeating the 7th ranked Vanderbilt Commodores.
Over 60 Iowa alumni, fans and parents attended the tailgate on March 1st and 30 people enjoyed coffee and doughnuts on the morning of March 2nd. Coach Dahm greeted the alumni and fans who were thrilled to have the Hawkeyes in middle Tennessee.
The weather was great, the team played well and for those of us who cheer for the black and gold, we were again reminded of how great it is to be a Hawkeye!

On April 2, 2006, a small group of us went on a tour of the Frist Center For The Visual Arts.
Nashville Kats Alumni Night
On March 17, 2006, we had a table to promote the University of Iowa on the concourse, participated in a halftime College Rival Competition on the field, and sat together at the game.
