Philadelphia Iowa Club 2011-12

Hello Hawk Fans! I was surprised to find that the Philly I-Club has been inactive since the end of the TO (Terrell Owens) era circa 2006. I am sure we can get this going again. Hawk fans love to brag about their old school. Just ask me.

The Bayou Bar in Manayunk (Philly proper) is welcoming Iowa fans to their fine establishment to cheer on the Hawks in November. We had our first get together last weekend and five people made it out in the miserable snow and rain to cheer on the Hawks. They even play the Iowa Fight song for us on the Juke Box.

I realize it’s late in the season and things are not going well for the Hawks so far. Losing to Minnesota has even the most loyal and spirited Hawk fans down right now. But it would still be great to see you if you would like to join your fellow Alum, Friends and Fans of Iowa for the last four games of the season. We may even be able to extend this into the basketball season.
