This song, a mix of "Thunderstruck" by ACDC and "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz, is a great remix by Scott Burdsall. Whenever I need a great song to pick up my spirits, I just play this on my iPod and I am ready to go.

Aside from being one of my favorite bands, I love the strong rhythm from the piano.

This classic rock song is soothing. It reminds me not to freak out about some of those hard exams that are coming up!

Album: The Unauthorized Biography Of Reinhold Messner
This song by Ben Folds has a great upbeat feel and great lyrics. I always play Ben Folds, and more specifically, "Army," whenever I need that little bit of extra energy. Also it is a great sing-a-long song.

Album: Gotta Get Thru This
The title explains it all. It's a motivating song for those long nights or all-nighters.

Song: "Beautiful"

This is another comforting song when I'm cozying up in a library and want to hear a beautiful voice instead of all that distracting background noise!

Song: "Rehab"
Artist: Amy Winehouse
Album: Back to Black
This is a great song with a very old school feel. Amy Winehouse is a great new British import with great songs with interesting lyrics and an old soulful feel.

Song: "Ain't Going Down (Til the Sun Comes Up)"
Artist: Garth Brooks
Album: In Pieces
This is another "late-night"song. This is one of my favorite songs, and the fast tempo keeps me awake. (No sample available)
