Wear this year’s S.T.A.T. T-shirt or bring your discount card to eat your fill of free wings! (S.T.A.T. Members Only.) The event takes place on April 22, 11-1:30 p.m., at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Old Capitol Town Center. |

The annual S.T.A.T.venger Hunt begins NEXT Monday, and the prize pack is too good to miss!
How does it work? Starting April 6, you’ll receive a clue each day for ten business days leading you across campus in search of the S.T.A.T. medallion. The clues, focused on UI trivia, will be sent via e-mail and posted on Facebook and the UI Alumni Association website. The first student to find the medallion will win season football and basketball tickets, a Hawkeye prize pack, and a complimentary 2008-2009 S.T.A.T. membership. |

It’s time to renew your 2009–2010 S.T.A.T. membership, which will help you save big on 2009 football tickets. Football tickets or not, you’ll still receive great premiums, be invited to fun events, and get a Recreation Services pass offering one FREE activity.
Want football tickets? You can purchase your season football tickets for next fall at http://hawkeyesports.cstv.com/tickets/iowa-tickets.html. Click UI Students, log in with your ID, and be sure to select the S.T.A.T. member option to save $14 off your tickets (not a bad savings when you pay $20 for S.T.A.T. membership).

Jenn is a sophomore from Cedar Rapids, IA, who has recently applied for the integrative physiology program. She has a minor in Spanish. Vice President of Operations for S.T.A.T. Ambassadors, Jenn is also a team leader for the MS Walk in April. Learn more about Jenn from her answers below: Where will you be in 5 years? In dental school—hopefully at the University of Iowa.
What is a random fact about you? I can make my tongue into a four leaf clover.
Favorite place: The Boundary Waters between Minnesota and Canada. Visitors have to canoe in and out of the area.
Greatest accomplishment: Being a happy person who loves life. How has S.T.A.T. impacted you? My S.T.A.T. friendships give me a sense of belonging on campus. Belonging to S.T.A.T. has broadened my network of Iowa contacts; I’m meeting with the Dean of the College of Dentistry whom I met at a S.T.A.T. event. What is your favorite S.T.A.T. memory? Make-A-Wish game day is always a favorite. Also, I recently went to the CASE Conference in Cincinnati with some fellow ambassadors and have many fun memories from that experience. What is one thing everyone should do as a student at the UI? Get involved, build friendships, and leave the University of Iowa better for future Hawkeyes. What other activities are you involved with? I play in a softball recreation league and am very involved with my church, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. My sister and I are also team captains for the MS Walk at Cedar Rapids Xavier High School on April 25 at 10 a.m.
