The Internet, as we all know, is a series of tubes, and a pretty darn extensive one at that. There are so many websites to choose from to get your daily dose of online entertainment, in fact, that it can be hard to narrow it down. But never fear — this month, students share with us their favorite websites, making it even easier to spend your time with the best of the web.

We all need textbooks come the new semester, but there's more to book-buying than the titles alone. This month, the Take 5 team picked the three most commonly visited bookstores for students in Iowa City and rated them based on selection, organization, price, service, and atmosphere. Textbooks, after all, shouldn't be your only motivator for hunting out the best places to find good books. So whether you're in search of some Human Biology or some David Sedaris, let Take 5 help you with your literary journey! >>

Talk Back
If you’ve got something to add about these bookstores or other establishments that didn’t make the list, let us know with your “Talk Back” comments. We’ll print selected comments in next month’s S.T.A.T. Underground newsletter. Talk back >>
