Thank you to everyone who came out to the IMU on April 25th for the "Last Lecture."
Over 70 of you joined us to enjoy featured music, prizes, and an inspiring talk from our nominated speaker, UI professor Craig Just, who shared how life as a Hawkeye Alum would be just like Guitar Hero.
Photos and video clips from the Last Lecture will be available the week of May 5 on the UIAA website. |

Congratulations to S.T.A.T. members Amanda Redalen, a sophomore international studies major from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and Angela Kuntz, a freshman pre-integrative physiology major from Mediapolis, Iowa, recipients of the 2008 Dr. Ken Magid Child Advocacy Service Scholarships.
Each winner receives an all-expense-paid trip to volunteer at the Tutova failure-to-thrive clinic in Barlad, Romania. Amanda and Angela will help feed and care for babies who arrive at the clinic shortly after birth. |
