Capital Area/DC IOWA Club
Join the newly forming CAIC softball team!
With winter hopefully ending soon (knock on wood), it's time to start thinking about spring and softball. The CAIC is in the process of rounding up a team of local alumni and friends of Iowa to play in a league this spring. We are looking for guys and gals to come and play some ball in the DC area. No experience needed, just bring a glove. If you don't have a glove, come anyway and we'll figure something out.
If you are interested and want to sign up or have questions, please contact Tim Kennelly (319-621-7080 or trepk445@hotmail.com) or Mark Wemette (571-309-1182 or mwemette13@yahoo.com).
Denver/Rocky Mountain IOWA Club
The Northwestern Alumni club has been working hard with all the other local Big Ten clubs to setup a Big ten Flag Football league.
Games held on Thursday evenings around 6 p.m. at City Park. We chose City Park as it has a plethora of fields, is centrally located and allows alcohol.
Schedule:
- Thursday, September 9th

- Thursday, September 30th
- Sunday, October 10th (full day tournament with BBQ)
