The University of Iowa Alumni Association (UIAA) is looking for new recruits to serve as volunteers for the Council Bluffs/Omaha Iowa Club.

Interested in helping out?
Let us know.

What will volunteers do?
Promote the University of Iowa, of course! The club will coordinate and host events that bring fellow Hawkeyes together to support the mission of the Iowa Clubs, which includes:

  • Recruiting Future Hawkeyes
  • Networking Events
  • Scholarship Fundraisers
  • Community Service
  • Career Development
  • Legislative Advocacy

How much time will it take?
You can decide! Iowa Club volunteers will be matched with involvement opportunities that relate to their interests, abilities, and time availability.

How often are the meetings?
Planning meetings for club leaders will be held three to four times per year; there aren’t general member meetings. Events held throughout the year are open to everyone.

What kind of support will the UIAA provide to club leaders?
Once a volunteer board is in place, we will provide promotion of your events through e-mails, mailings, and regular website updates. We will help you organize events, recruit volunteers, and run efficient meetings.
