UIAA Photo Use Agreement

I am providing a photograph that I took or I have the permission of the photographer to submit this photograph to the University of Iowa Alumni Association (UIAA) with the understanding that the photo may be released for the types of use described below:

I authorize the University of Iowa Alumni Association (UIAA) to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publicly exhibit, in whole or in part, the submitted photograph in print publications, DVDs, cd-roms, or the Internet, and all other markets, media, or technology now known or developed in the future, without restrictions or limitation for any purpose that the UIAA deems appropriate, including but not limited to commercial and promotional uses.

I further consent to the use of my name and biographical material in connection with this photo. I release the UIAA, its successors and assigns, agents, and all persons for whom it is acting from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the recording process, or any unintentional misspellings or inaccuracies; furthermore, I waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished photograph. The UIAA may exercise these rights itself or through any successors, transferees, licensees, distributors, or other parties.
