Kansas City IOWA Club 2009-10 Membership Drive
We had an 85% increase in membership last year as we reached 387 supporting members. This year we look to continue the push as we have a goal of increasing our membership to 500 strong in KC! Please send in your renewals as it remains just $10 to help support the local club and all proceeds go to support the University of Iowa! You also receive discounted t-shirts prices, reduced admissions to club events, and a discount card for The Other Place. You can now order your club t-shirts online and have them delivered to your door!
This year's club t-shirt is commemorating 25 years of the Kansas City IOWA Club, as the club was established in 1985, (as one of the first of it's kind). So 2010 will mark the 25th anniversary of our local KC IOWA club.
The t-shirts are on "old" gold shirts and have the retro Flying Hawkeye logo carrying a white banner scroll that says "Greater Kansas City IOWA Club, Est. 1985". The back of the shirt will have our club logo and the message "Celebrating 25 Years of Hawkeye Support in Kansas City". The t-shirts cost $10 each ($12 for XXL), and $5 shipping for up to 4 shirts, $10 shipping for 5+ shirts.

Greater KC IOWA Club - Official Game Watch Location
The Kansas City IOWA Club gathers at The Other Place Sports Grill & Pizzeria in downtown Overland Park, KS for all their game watches. Based in Cedar Falls, IA, they have been a wonderful supporter and sponsor of the Hawkeyes and the Kansas City IOWA Club. If you are not at Kinnick Stadium, this is the next best place to be to watch a Hawkeye game!The Other Place (The OP)
