The University of Iowa Alumni Association, in partnership with the UI Museum of Art (UIMA) and the Figge Art Museum, is pleased to invite UI alumni and friends to a special viewing of "A Legacy for Iowa: Pollock's Mural and Modern Masterworks from the University of Iowa Museum of Art."

While the floodwaters have long receded from the Iowa City campus, the effects are still apparent with the closure of the UIMA and displacement of its collection. To offer a chance for the public to reengage with the UIMA collection, the Figge Art Museum has graciously welcomed this exhibit to its remarkable facility, and we invite you to join us for an exclusive reception for UI alumni and friends.

Join us at the Figge for a casual reception with UIMA and Figge staff and UI graduate art students to discuss the collection, the future of the museum, and the impact of the flood. UIMA and Figge docents will guide tours, and UIMA and Figge staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the art.
