Win Hawkeye football tickets in our online magazine competition.

Now you have even more incentive to explore the riches of the online version of Iowa Alumni Magazine: a treasure hunt!

Dig through the wealth of exclusive multimedia material available to UIAA members through the online publication—and you could win a pair of outdoor club seat tickets (worth approximately $700) to the Iowa vs. Purdue football game in Iowa City on Saturday, November 15, 2008.

Taking part in the hunt is easy: simply use the online magazine search facility to hunt for the answers to the clues below.

Send your answers, along with your name and address, to by Friday, September 26. Correct answers submitted by UIAA members will be entered into a drawing for the football tickets.

Q.1: Which colors of tattoo ink are the hardest to remove?

(Hint: Question and learn in the "Tattoo U" article in the February online magazine.)

Q.2: How many miles did UI botany professor Bohumil Shimek, 1883CE, 1902MS, lug a 200-pound load during one of his specimen-collecting expeditions to the southwestern desert?

(Hint: Our online June magazine offers plenty of interesting material about fossils—those "Rocks of Ages"—and the professors who helped amass the UI's world-renowned geological and botanical collections.)

Q.3: Who was the UI professor recalled in a reader comment for a June online article?

(Hint: It's all about trilobites.)
