Join the fun at the UIAA Members' Tailgate before the Hawkeyes take on the Michigan State Spartans on October 30, 2010. Enjoy great food, music, entertainment, and door prizes to get you cheering for a victory. The tailgate will be on the Main Deck in the UI Field House, located on Grand Avenue, and will begin three hours before the game and last until 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Cost is $10/person with a current UIAA membership (all memberships will be verified), and members can bring non-member guests for the $10 price. Need Football Tickets? Seven Iowa Voyagers, plus an adopted Hawkeye, enjoyed a thorough exploration of Turkey last month, June 16 - 27. They visited historic Istanbul and the fascinating Cappadocia region, and enjoyed the natural beauty of Bodrum. Along the route, they cruised the shores of the Bosphorus Sea, descended into a subterranean city in the Goreme Valley, sampled tea and baklava, witnessed traditional pottery and winemaking techniques, strolled through the ancient ruins of Ephesus, visited houses of worship, met with Turkish citizens and learned about current life. Turkey is an increasingly popular destination with Iowa Voyagers.
