Shortly
after Dr. Knipe arrived at Iowa, rebellion erupted among the upperclassmen
on the team. Before long, the "Blackmore Revolt: ended in a mass
exodus from the team. Knipe quickly promoted younger players to starting
positions on the varsity squad and went undefeated for the next three
seasons!
