Wild Iowa Photo Contest 2007

Nice work, Lisa! Lisa's waterfall photo was voted best photo in the Iowa Alumni Magazine Wild Iowa Photo Contest. Lisa's photo received more online votes than any other entry. Lisa will receive a lovely gift basket filled with an assortment of University of Iowa prizes.

About Our Winner
Lisa Brainard from Preston, MN, graduated from the University of Iowa in 1981 with a major in Communication and Theatre Arts.
When and where the photo was taken: A waterfall on the Upper Iowa River. It was taken at the "Lower Dam," on DNR land northeast of Decorah. This scene shows the river as it could have been long ago...or now. It was taken from two to four years ago with a digital Canon G-4 camera.
