Memphis Iowa Club Welcomes Visitors

In recent weeks we have had out-of-town visitors join us at
nearly every game watch. The e-mail reproduced below was received from
Blake and Lisa Vardaman from Des Moines who joined us for the October
30th game watch while on vacation in Memphis.

Thanks for the warm reception at Gill's while we were vacationing in Memphis last weekend. What a great place to watch games. It looks like Gill's has given you the red carpet treatment, giving you your own room, painting the walls black and gold and even letting you put your logo on the wall!!
It is always more fun to watch Iowa games with fellow Hawkeye fans and we had a wonderful time meeting all the great people with Iowa ties. You have a top-notch club in Memphis and I will wear my Memphis I-Club T-shirt with pride. I'm certain that because of your closeness as a group and involvement in the community you will continue to win accolades and awards from the national I-Club.
Thanks for the great game watching experience and we look forward to seeing you in Iowa City for the Michigan game next year.
