Accountant

The UI Alumni Association is seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to exercise basic accounting control over the association’s accounting and budgeting systems, including the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of regular reports for management and the board of directors and assisting with the preparation for the annual audit.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and accounting experience is required. Reasonable experience with PC word processing and spreadsheet applications as well as with PC-based accounting software is required. At least six months to one year of accounting experience is required. Excellent organizational and communication skills along with demonstrated professionalism are required. Experience in an office setting working directly with program or project managers is preferred.

Salary: $31,526 to $39,061
