Our 2011 Membership is open for registration! Membership to the NY Metro Iowa Alumni Club is valid until Summer 2012 with benefits including:
• Pre-sales for tickets to club events
• Discounted tickets to club events
• Discounted price on club T-shirts and premiums
• Every member will receive a free foam can holder club premium
• Members are automatically entered to win 2 tickets to the US Open Men's Semi-Finals (Two matches on Saturday, September 10, 2011, starting at 11am)

Membership dues go towards our annual club scholarship to a UI Freshman from the NYC area as well as advanced payments for club activities.

How to Become a Member
It costs $10 for renewing members and $20 for new members to join the NY Metro Iowa Alumni Club for 12 months. Volunteers Needed for 2011-2012 Club Board

We're looking for dedicated Hawk fans to fill three openings on next year's board! Our board consists of 10 members (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and six At-Large positions). The six At-Large board members will serve as committee chairs to plan events and activities as well as market the club and advance its digital and online presence.

In order to qualify as a candidate for the board you must:
• Be a dues paying member of the NY Metro Iowa Alumni Club
• Be a dues paying member of the UIAA. Click here to join the UIAA
• Be an Iowa fan living in the area (no, you don't need to have graduated from UI)
• Expect to volunteer between 5-10 hours a month to the club and be available for quarterly board meetings
• Lead a committee that plans to organize two events per year

If you'd like to volunteer but would like a smaller time commitment, we will be asking for committee volunteers later this year. These volunteers will be instrumental at helping organize and run an event and will only have to report to their committee's chair.
