Eastern Illinois vs. Iowa
-
- We are just over a week away from the kickoff of the Hawkeye's
2010 football season! The first game is against Eastern
Illinois on Saturday, September 4th. The theme for the game
is "Be Bold Wear Gold", so make sure and wear
your gold Hawkeye garb! Kickoff is at 12:05
pm. The raffle for the game will be Orange Bowl themed, with
prizes commemorating the Hawkeye's Orange Bowl victory over
Georgia Tech! See you at Ron Dao's! Go Hawks!

- Paradise Iowa Club is Incorporated!
-
- It is with great pleasure that the Paradise Iowa Club Board of
Directors announces a new era in operations of the Club. As of
this past Tuesday, the Paradise Iowa Club is a fully incorporated
501(c)(7) organization with Federal Tax-exempt status. The
Paradise Iowa Club Board has been working towards this goal for over
a year and it comes with a great relief to have the process finally
completed. Under the new Alumni Association guidelines all
Iowa Clubs will be moving in this direction and Paradise is the
first in the nation to have completed the process!
- Tim Dwight Foundation
-
- Please click on the link to the PDF
letter from Tim, thanking the Club for their continued support
of the Tim Dwight Foundation. Portions of our football
raffles, as well as the money raised at our Annual Dinner back in
February went to support his Foundation. Thank you to all of
the Paradise Club Members, without your continued support the Club
would not be able to support our various charitable causes! On
Iowa! Go Hawks!
- Our Sponsors
-
- With football season starting, Paradise Iowa Club will again be
highlighting member businesses who have stepped up to help
Paradise as sponsors. Paradise Iowa Club sponsors are an
integral part of the Club. Sponsor contributions allow the
Club to provide great events for our members & continued focus
on supporting our charities. Without the support of our
sponsors, we would not have been able to bring Tim Dwight to our
annual dinner last February, provide support to the Iowa National
Guard Troops, meet our Relay for Life goal, etc. All of our
charitable work benefits from our sponsor's support, for which we
are extremely grateful! In the coming months we will
introduce you to our sponsors, the Paradise members behind them,
and their Iowa connections. It is our sincere wish that you
will patronize our sponsors.
