Relay for Life

 

Thank you to those who have signed up to join the team, or have donated money to help the Club get closer to our team goal of raising $3000 for the American Cancer Society!  There’s still time to sign up, volunteer, or donate!  We’re still looking for a lot of team members to take turns walking the track, and for volunteer(s) to help with the pizza delivery for our on-site fundraiser.

 

The Fort Myers Relay for Life takes place on April 23^rd, at the Lee County Sports Complex.  There are three ways you can help the Paradise Club in our fight against cancer.  1) Join our team by clicking on the link below, sign up, and help raise money.  2) Volunteer.  If you don’t think you’ll be able to join the team, or aren’t able to donate money, there are a number of tasks that we could use help with such as: pizza delivery; transporting pizzas from Ron Dao’s to Relay, or helping sell pizzas for our on-site fund raiser.  3) Donate.  If you can’t join the team or volunteer, consider donating to one of the team members, or just to the Paradise team in general.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Team Captain, Greg Maaske at gregmaaske@yahoo.com or 319-321-8820.

Big Ten Council

 

The Paradise Iowa Club has been meeting with other Big Ten Alumni Clubs in SW Florida to help form the SW Florida Big Ten Council.  It is our goal to bring alumni and fans of the Big Ten schools together for fun and fellowship!  We have already hosted one event, and have several more coming up.  Put the following events on your calendar, and be sure to wear your black and gold to them!  Check out the new SW Florida Big Ten Council Website www.swflbig10.com

 

Wine Tasting at Stonewood Grill to benefit the Red Cross of Lee County

March 30th from 5:30-7:30 PM.  $25/person includes hors d'oeuvres.  Space is limited so sign up early!  Registration and check must be received by March 23rd.  For additional information or to register, please see the flyer or contact Lori at 287-0780.

 

Big Ten Night at the Miracle

Would you like to become a Paradise Club Member?

Join the Paradise Iowa Club and get all our mailers and benefits!  It is easy and inexpensive!  The Paradise Iowa Club is run by volunteers and promotes local and Iowa Charities.  The money collected through our raffles goes to our various charities.  Our membership dues are used to pay for operation expenses, so it is very important that those who receive the benefits of the Club pay the membership fee.  This allows the Paradise Board of Directors to devote their time and effort to creating the activities the club offers.
