Plan Your Own Reunion
The University of Iowa Alumni Association (UIAA) serves as a resource for UI faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who want to plan their own reunion. Whether you are reuniting with alumni from a former student organization, academic group, or a degree program, we want to help you renew friendships, rekindle memories, and reconnect with your alma mater.
Although the UIAA does not fully coordinate the reunion, we will assist and provide guidance to a group of alumni volunteers. Volunteer commitment is integral to the success of an event, and we first ask that you assemble a team of at least 3-5 alumni who are willing to help plan and execute the reunion. We’d be happy to help you identify possible volunteers.
Once your reunion planning committee is in place, please send the names to Christina Wright, Assistant Director of Alumni Programs. An in-person meeting or a teleconference will be scheduled to review reunion guidelines, answer questions, establish a timeline, and initiate the planning.
