S.T.A.T. Ambassadors
Committees
Jenna Zimmerman, Vice President
of Programming, oversees all activities
in which the Ambassadors are involved. She coordinates committees,
appoints
chairs, and acts as a liaison between the committees, the executive
committee,
and the UIAA.
 Make-A-Wish Gameday: S.T.A.T. Ambassadors work with the Alumni Association, UI Athletic Department and Make-A-Wish Foundation to plan a day of fun, food, and football to area children with life threatening illnesses.
 Beat Iowa State Week: Our weeklong festival, featuring online contests, giveaways, discounts, and more.
 Alumni Reunion Weekend: The University of Iowa welcomes back its graduates for reunion celebrations. The Ambassadors host these alumni at various events and programs.
 S.T.A.T. Committee (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) This committee focuses on building strong relationships with community and campus partners through educational and extracurricular activities for more than 3,000 members.
 Morale/Social: Works to make sure the entire organization knows one another and is in good spirits. They provide activities in general meetings to assist in the communication and internal relations of the organization.
 Membership: Responsible for recruitment, screening, interviews, and welcoming of new members to the organization.
Speaker Series: Ambassador Executive Board identifies and invites speakers connected to the UI community to address the general membership on a regular basis.
Riverfest: Ambassadors will support and participate in Riverfest through volunteerism and programming.
