Alumni & Student Volunteer Opportunities
Without volunteers, the Alumni Association would be far more limited
in what it can do. If you'd like to help, please explore the opportunities
listed below.
Some people volunteer because they meet new friends and feel connected
to the university. Others want to explore careers and learn new skills.
Many find fulfillment in giving of their expertise for the good of
others.
Whatever reason prompts you to volunteer, we thank you!
Current Alumni Opportunities:
Iowa Career Exploration Network (ICE-Net) - UI alumni or friends of the University volunteer to connect with UI students through networking and information interviews. Learn more about ICE-Net.
ASIST - Alumni Seeking Iowa Students is a cooperative
effort of the Office of Admissions and the UI Alumni Association.
Through ASIST, informed alumni introduce the University of Iowa to
prospective students. Learn
more about ASIST.
UI Legislative Advocacy Network - UI advocates
are alumni or friends of the University who support the goals of
higher education in Iowa and are willing
to communicate that support to their representatives in the state
government. Learn more about the UI Advocacy Network.
UI Volunteer Link - Whether you are a prospective volunteer or a community-based organization in search of volunteers, we hope you will discover that Volunteer Link is the place to make connections! Learn more about this Civic Engagement Program.
Our need for volunteers changes from time to time throughout the year.
