Polar Bear Expedition
Natural Habitat Adventures
October 18-24, 2005

The mighty polar bear is one of the most awe-inspiring of all animals. Now you can come almost face-to-face with these powerful and intriguing creatures. Each fall, the small Canadian town of Churchill, located on the western shore of the Hudson Bay, becomes a stopover for more than 1,000 polar bears on their annual migration. From the safety and protection of specially equipped tundra vehicles, you can be one of the few to view these majestic creatures at close range. Learn about the bears and their environment during this adventure to the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” You’ll also see many other Arctic species, such as the snowy owl, ptarmigan, gyrfalcon, and the Arctic fox.

$3,495 per person double occupancy, + air
