Alumni Campus Abroad in Italy (Orvieto)

2006 marks the 2nd year for an exciting
partnership between the UI College of Medicine and the Iowa Voyagers.
We were pleased to
offer this exclusive travel program for medicine alumni, friends,
relatives and colleagues.
Fall is the perfect time to be in Italy
when the fruits of summer are harvested and weather is mild and mellow.
Travelers will immerse
themselves for eight days in the vibrant culture of Italy. Based
in the charming town of Orvieto overlooking a breathtaking
panorama of Umbria's rolling fields and valley vineyards, you'll discover
medieval cities, caves, and churches, learn the art of wine-tasting,
or try your hand at cooking or photography. Excursions will take you
to Rome—the
Eternal City; Florence—birthplace of the
Renaissance; the ancient Etruscan city of Perugia; and the walled city
of Assisi—home
to the exquisite Saint Francis Basilica. You'll also meet local residents
and learn more about life in Bella Italia. approximately $2,195,
