The Iowa Voyagers Roommate Pool was created in response to requests from people who lack a traveling partner or want to avoid paying costly single supplements. Requests come from single, widowed, and divorced travelers as well as from married travelers whose spouses are not interested in the particular destination. This free service can help you save money and make the most of your travel experience.
Roommate Pool participants provide details such as age, gender, preferred destinations, price range, travel dates and other data. This is entered into a database that can be searched according to your preferences to find a suitable match.

Guidelines
For Roommate Pool
Sign up by submitting the online Roommate Pool Survey.
We enter your information into our database. All data is strictly confidential.
You call us at 800/469-2586 to request a roommate search for a particular Iowa Voyagers trip or for general destinations.
We search the database and notify you if potential matches are found.
We get your permission to release selected data to the potential roommates you approve.
We contact the potential roommates to confirm that they want data released to you.
You
contact each other (via the method you designate, usually e-mail
or phone) and decide if you’d like to travel as roommates.
You notify us of your decision and sign up for the trip if you decide to share accommodations.
NO DATA IS EVER RELEASED OR SHARED WITHOUT YOUR SPECIFIC CONSENT. NO DATA IS SHARED WITH OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS OR ENTITIES.
