Session Four
March Madness
Tuesdays, March 6, 13, 20, 27
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Upper Club Room, Carver-Hawkeye Arena
Registration Deadline: February 28
Class Limit: 70
We will look at many aspects of the March Madness experience, such as the 64-team selection process (conference and at-large teams), the regions and styles of play, the power teams vs. the non-power teams, and the excitement generated. Does the team with the most talent win? Or, does the "best team, period" win? What do you watch for during the games? What impact does March Madness have on the world of "gambling" (i.e. office pools)? This class will explore those questions.
