Transportation and Economic Development

In Site Selection magazine's 2014 survey of corporate real estate executives, "transportation infrastructure" ranks first on site selectors' list of the most important location criteria. The University of Iowa Alumni Association and the Iowa City Area Development Group invite you to a conversation about transportation's role in economic development

This event will feature an update on the Eastern Iowa Airport and an inside look at concepts for statewide, high-value transportation improvements.

Presenters include Eastern Iowa Airport Director Marty Lenss, Iowa Department of Transportation Director Paul Trombino III, MidAmerican Energy's Vice President of Business and Community Development Kathryn Kunert, and Iowa Economic Development Authority Director Debi Durham.

Preregistration for this event has ended. However, walk-ins are welcome. Please register at the door when you arrive at the event.
