RELAY FOR LIFE!

Every year the 'Hawkeyes in Paradise' support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, selling pizzas help raise money to hit our monetary goal to help in the fight against cancer. BOWL TRIPS

When the Hawkeyes come to Florida, you can guarantee that the Paradise Club will be taking a trip to see their beloved team live! Pictured here are the two buses and the group we took to see the Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL on January 1, 2006. TROOP CARE PACKAGES

For the past several years the Paradise Iowa Club has been supporting various Iowa National Guard and Army Reserve Units serving overseas. Every Unit has requested different kinds of support; from phone cards so soldiers can call home to their families over the holidays, to necessities that are hard to come by overseas such as chap stick and travel size toiletries, to reminders of home such as DVD's, CD's, books, and snacks. The Paradise Iowa Club has sent over 100,000 phone minutes and thousands of pounds of supplies to these units. Below are a few pictures some of the troops have sent us, as well as a picture of Annette standing next to a stack of boxes so you can get an idea of how much we sent!
