Since 1847, Iowa City has been home to generations of Hawkeyes, who are always welcome on campus. While plans for a campus-wide 50-year class reunion organized by the UI Alumni Association have been discontinued, various colleges and departments are making plans to celebrate specific class years.
Homecoming 2011
The University of Iowa Alumni Association, alumni, and guests had a great time at this year's Homecoming 2011 festivities that included the annual parade, welcome tent along the parade route among many other events across campus. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) 5th Anniversary Celebration
The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership, University of Iowa Alumni Association, Center for Diversity and Enrichment, LGBT Faculty and Staff Association, TransCollaborations and Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allied Union (GLBTAU) participated in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) 5th Anniversary Celebration, October 28-30, 2011, in Iowa City. Scottish Highlanders 75th Anniversary Celebration and Reunion
More than 250 former Scottish Highlanders and their guests were on campus September 1-4 to toast the organization's magnificent 75-year history and contributions to the University of Iowa.
